Donations & Bequests

The Scotch Road Cemetery Association has been able to pursue its objectives thanks to the donations of its many members and friends over the past thirty years.

Anyone may make a donation or bequest to the Association.

An official income tax receipt will be issued for any donation or bequest over ten dollars.

What is the SRCA?

The Scotch Road Cemetery Association is an incorporated, non-profit organization dedicated to the maintenance, preservation and remembrance of the Scotch Road Cemetery, a heritage graveyard, located in Grenville Township, County of Argenteuil, Province of Quebec.

It was established by a group of concerned citizens who first met at the Goodland Farm north of Grenville, Quebec in 1975.

The objectives of the Association are:

  1. to preserve the Scotch Road Cemetery;
  2. to develop a greater appreciation of the part played by the early settlers who are buried in the Cemetery;
  3. to share the Association's knowledge and resources regarding the Cemetery.

The Association holds an annual meeting open to the general public once a year in the autumn at the Grenville Township Office in Grenville, Quebec.

Officers

The Association has three officers -- president, secretary and treasurer -- who are elected for a two-year term at the annual general meeting.
